Search our registers, anytime

If you want information about a small number of companies (or other business entities), you can search the register yourself.

If you are not sure what type of entity you are looking for you can search all the registers with one simple search on the New Zealand Business Number (NZBN) website.

Download bulk data

If you need information for a large number of entities you can request access to our bulk data to do your own filtering or analysis. Bulk data is a monthly snapshot of most of the publicly available information on the Companies Register contained in a series of CSV files.

We update this data every month, and once you have access you can download it free of charge, anytime.

• liquidations
• receiverships, and
• voluntary administrations.

Connect to our APIs

Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) allow your system to retrieve information from us automatically. If you want to integrate our data with your own applications or systems, especially if you want real-time information, you are best to use one or more of our APIs.

There are APIs for the following registers:

• Companies Register
• Disclose Register
• Personal Property Securities Register (PPSR), and
• New Zealand Business Number (NZBN) Register.
